J.J. Johnson - World Turned Odd, Odd Squad
Michela Luci stands as tall as a brachiosaurus, as this marks her first ever Daytime Emmy award for outstanding performance. J.J. Johnson's win for best director marks his third win in this category, and the Odd-some writing team behind Odd Squad takes home the Outstanding Writing award for the second time since 2016.
Including this year's awards, Sinking Ship Entertainment has garnered a total of 17 Daytime Emmy wins and 90 nominations since the companies' launch in 2004, making it Canada's children's media company with the most Daytime Emmy nominations.
The 46th Annual Daytime Emmy Awards is a presentation of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards were presented at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Southern California on Friday, May 3, 2019.
